Summary: Great property, tastefully renovated and decorated with a huge private and mature garden with lots of different sitting areas - Theres another section of the garden not shown in the pictures. The town itself is very quiet with a few shops and a little outdoor restaurant (La Ponetere). La Rochelle is about 30mins drive

Summary: Wow, this holiday home is gorgeous, we had such an incredible 3 weeks here that we are already looking into coming back next year. I can’t fault it at all. The garden has a whole other section that the photos don’t show, it’s beautifully kept and you can spend all day out there. The owners were lovely and on hand should we need them. The area is beautiful and everyone so friendly. This holiday home definitely has the wow factor and we can’t wait to spend another holiday there.

Summary: The house was lovely, as a family of 4 we had plenty of room inside and out. The garden was great, very well maintained and provided a good space for my son to play football with his Dad. Was nice to eat out in the garden in the morning and evening. Location is good, quiet area but shops and pharmacy with in a 5 minute drive. La Rochelle is about 25 minutes away, we really enjoyed the beach and restaurants there. We arrived late at night and key was left in a secure location for us, making our arrival easy. The owners popped into see us the day after to show us how to work a few things, they do not speak English but we managed to communicate with a little help from google translate :) Towels and bedding isn't provided so make sure you take your own. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend to others looking for a peaceful location but with good access to other towns. Thank you

Summary: Fantastic, stylish, spacious house, pictures don't do it any justice! It has all appliances one needs. Perfect for 1 or 2 couples or a family stay, but for a quiet, away from it all stay! You will need a car, the nearest supermarket is 10 min away. Ideal location for exploring the region. Must visits are Vouvon, La Rochelle, Il de Re, Venice Verde and if you have time Cognac! Summary: We have to say, that everything was really wonderful! Our Host was so kind and helpful and the house was exactly how it was described. We had some wonderful days with my wife and my two kids (15 and 2 years) and the large and enclosed garden was perfect for our baby. We can recommend this holiday vacation 100% and we would come again every time. Please note that you absolutely need a car but you can make some great long walks in the nature too. Thank you Charlotte for two really enjoyable weeks in Charron. Patrick and Julia.
